X-Authentication-Warning: naughty.monkey.org: majordom set sender to madonna-owner@mlvc.org using -f Date: Sun, 08 Feb 1998 11:42:54 -0800 From: Andrew Nestler Reply-To: nestler@usc.edu X-Mailer: Mozilla 3.01 (Macintosh; I; 68K) To: madonna@mlvc.org Subject: Re: )|(: The 40-singles BOX Sender: madonna-owner@monkey.org Gordon, Gordon, Gordon. As you know, I never made any claim about the value of the box or of any tracks inside. I simply am letting people know what's in there. The fact remains, I believe, that the LAP fade is unique to this set, and it's the only such track (although I didn't even get into the errors they made when reduplicating picture sleeves). I'm sorry if you don't have all of these versions, and further doubt the authenticity of some of the more rare Madonna records such as the JP promo LP that I mentioned/own, but that doesn't mean you should berate someone on the list for providing factual information. It's disingenuous for you to call me "misleading" and say that I'm doing a "disservice." On the contrary, collecting is big fun hobby for me, and if serious collectors didn't post their knowledge here, then you'd have an even harder time determining fact from fiction than you do now. -- Andrew --> GOURMET <-- wrote: > > Andrew Nestler wrote:. > > > > > This Is ...
